It wasn’t until 2016 that the owners realized their passion for mushroom cultivation. Before that, they worked on different continents, where they tasted many different varieties of mushrooms. Living in their tidy and sunny apartment, overlooking the golden sunset outside of their apartment, they regularly sipped on a mix of mushroom tea before going to work.

The mushrooms contained high vitamin and mineral content, enough to feel the effects of Vitamin D and other nutrients. Downstairs where they lived, a local grocery store sold fresh Shiitake, Oyster and Enoki mushrooms, filling their cupboard for making tea, food, soups.

The other founder, who was travelling the globe too, gained an appreciation for the mushrooms. Sipping on a hot drink containing a warm but well-rounded shrooms.

Coming back home, they had the idea to try and raise some strains. They both had the idea to start a mushroom farm of their very own and to offer a wide array of mushroom-related products, and so Gshroom was born. The main market for Gshroom are Google Users, therefore we added the “G” to symbolize the market, while “shrooms” is the synonym for edible mushrooms.
