Where is the origin of manufacturing?

These locally-sourced products are foraged in the wild by mushroom hunters. They grow naturally at the base of certain types of trees. The symbiotic relationship between these fungi and trees cannot be reproduced in the lab, hence they are 100% organic and natural. These types of mushrooms contain rare sources of vitamins and minerals, and a unique character that enhances flavor and gives profile to pasta, pizza, oil, carpaccio, and salt.

What are the contents or ingredients?

The ingredients contain 100% T. melanosporum or T. aestivum. Packed and preserved by the method of drying. These fungi are ready to rehydrate, or used in any other method the chef chooses to do. Whole and uncut, the integrity of the structure is complete, with the hard complex surface of the exterior and the marble streak interior. The whole uncut growth of a tuber is visible in the package provided in the contents of every order of premium fungi.

How is it used in cooking and dishes?

Used in cooking in many different ways. Some choose to prepare them by hydrating them in water, others like to infuse them into olive oil. Then sliced is popular in carpaccio and powder of seasoning is used in sauces and exotic mixes. There are other methods to cook and we think truffle salt is an excellent idea for preserving the flavor and freshness even further by dicing up and adding flakes to salt. Whatever way, these are sure to enhance.

How is the product correctly stored?

These do not require refrigeration or freezing and they come pre-dried and ready to store. Once opened consume the contents within 1 month or without opening 6 months. Store in a cool and dry space without moisture and keep away from direct sunlight. To extend the lifespan, use a vacuum seal bag with a packet of moisture absorber silica gel. Keep away from heat and reseal the bag every time after opening with a moisture bag.
