Why We Store Information

We store your information because it’s the industry standard. We also need to ensure that the products reach you on time, be tracked, and there is a paper trail if anything happens. For example, we need to know when was your last shipment was sent.

Most people will have their service improved by the storage of information. Discounts are regularly applied to valued customers, and addresses are commonly used for courier quotes. We need this information to give you an accurate estimate of the shipping.

How Long Do We Store Information

We store the information as long as possible. Google does not delete your data on the dashboard. Those details are not confidential. For example, for the third party checkout, payment processors store your details as the industry standard for good PCI compliance.

If you want us to delete your data, send us an email, and we will see what details can be removed. Sometimes the data is not stored with us, in which case you will have to contact the relevant host or check your setting in your browser. We will try to help.

Who Can See Information

It’s a bit complicated because we can see your data, but we do not know who else can see your data with the hosts. Suppose you trust PayPal and other typical businesses. In that case, we can guarantee that your information is seen by people with your best interests in mind.

We do not see your confidential data, such as credit card numbers, bank account, and other details. Those are submitted to third parties on checkout, and the final order comes through to us with a blank order template. We only see your name, email, shipping, etc.

Who Can Use Information

Orders are completed with your information. We do not use details more than you request from us. The PCI compliant third parties who process your card or payment will use your details to the extent stated on their terms and conditions page. The same professionalism is expected of suppliers.

The shipping company is another supplier using your details to complete your order. This source of information is not considered confidential for compliance. For your safety, the name, address, email, and telephone number on your order may be looked at by the customs inspection.

When Do We Store Information

On visiting the website, the Google Analytics tracking code is embedded into our website. The information is stored as soon as the tag is loaded on sending us an order that contains additional information provided to complete your request. We reserve the necessary information for orders.

Sometimes a supplier will send us your information, stripped down to the bare minimum. These details do not contain confidential data, and they help us in carrying out your request. Storing your data is only considered a necessity, and we will never ask for your details that we do not need.
